Aaron Graduated!!!!

Herculean task (explained later)

:) Ahh... Such a cute couple!

(I know I'm a little late, but) Aaron has graduated from the University of Virginia Law School!!! He's such an awesome brother-in-law. Congratulations, Aaron!

As we were walking to the gym where Aaron received his diploma, my dad compared Aaron's schooling to having an AP exam every single week and that's how hard Aaron's test were. I'm surprised he can think straight, much less, graduate! But he did it.

So, obviously my family went up there, or else I would not be writing this post. But do not think it was some sure thing. We decided to actually go only a few measly hours before we actually went. One moment it was, "Well maybe we should stay home, go see 'Prince Caspian'..." No complaints there. The next moment it's, "Why aren't you packing?! We're leaving for Virginia soon!" AAAH! Thankfully, I'm a pretty quick packer, and I had clean laundry. So, we were off.

I had soooooo much fun. I got to spend time with both sisters and I saw "Prince Caspian"!!!! All of it was awesome.

Now, the actual ceremony was on Sunday, and they were going to have it inthis nice green thick carpet of a lawn (the type of grass that only football players get to see). That was Plan A. Well, there was a chance that it was going to rain, so they had to go to Plan B. Plan B was in the gym. With a ton of people. In other words, multiple bodies packed closely together in a very close space with a roof, walls, a few small, inadequate doors, and NO AIR CONDITIONING.

It was awful. I even fell asleep. Thankfully we had the magazine thick programs of who all was graduating. Near the end, I got very excited because I thought it was about to finally all be over. Oh no. We had the mostly foreign students. I wanted to scream! But, eventually it was over. Finally!

We then walked to take the Herculean task of a picture made even more difficult by number of cameras. It turned out well. Good job, Cummings! (And innocent bystander, who we actually had to wait for. They all disappeared when we wanted a picture. Hmm...) (Note: I only thought it was difficult because I am so unaccustomed to taking a picture of so many people smiling and looking in the same direction at the same time.)

I was really happy that you could come so we could all enjoy the miserably hot ceremony together. It made me even happier that Aaron did such a good job and we would never have to go back to the law school again. Yeah Aaron!

It was a great day. We are all so proud of Katy and Aaron. But,it was sort of funny to see your head bouncing around as you tried to stay awake in the Memorial Gym...
