I am so Thankful For... (II)

I followed the advice of my wise elders (Katy and Robby) and ended up enjoying a hilarious movie! It was also nice to watch a good movie after being sick all day. I highly recommend it.

I am so Thankful For...

Little nieces to have tons of fun with

Having families apart , so I get to have TWO Thanksgiving dinners (Twice the food and Gratitude)
Families that love me

Hoodies that keep me warm while I play with Eliza
Getting to meet Reuben
Nephews like Reuben which are so much fun to hold!Getting to go to the National American Indian Museum
Delicious Food from the museum cafeteriaAwesome mommies who will wake up to the sound of you getting sick in the bathroom at 6:30 A.M. and take care of you all day even though they're not feeling very good themselves!
I'm also very thankful that I'm all better.

FAIR Day!

The SC State Fair is in town! I am so happy. Especially since this year we actually have a day off from school this year. Last year we didn't have a day off and I had to go on a Saturday. I am still unsure because my Fair Buddy, my mom, is working this year. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that either dear old Dad will go, OR I will find someone to go with... Maybe I'll find someone at 7:30 Cross Country practice in the morning...

Back to School

That, ladies and gentlemen, happens to be a picture of my high school. I am attending as a sophomore. I think it's kind of funny when people ask me if I'm happy to be back in school. Come on people! It's school. Oh well.

Twilight and Hancock

(Which was an awesome movie.)

You might be wondering why I have lumped together Twilight, teen girl fantasy book, and Hancock, awesome movie with Will Smith in it.

The reason is after my dad and I had seen it and were driving home, we were discussing what was good about the movie. Our list consisted of the following:
1) Overcoming the natural man
2) Giving something up for love, or for your love
3) Will Smith (and the great thing is he doesn't abuse his fame by doing really stupid movies, but does good movies)
4) [and of course the classic] good triumphs over evil

Now I was thinking the next day how Twilight (sorry! a little bit obsessed) has 3 of the 4 elements. 1-The vampires are "vegetarians". And the other ones, you'll just have to figure out on your own... But if you don't want to read with a girl as the narrator, just wait because the author is going to come out with a book with the guy narrating, which in my opinion, will be much more interesting.
I f you want a taste of what that book will be like, try here.
